The insurrection was a sight to behold the Afghanistan debacle was a total mess. During the 2020 election, many were stating they would move to Canada if Trump were re-elected. Things that would improve the country for the better seem to never come to fruition. The constant back and forth and inability to agree on anything material that would benefit the populace is exhausting. Most Americans are worn out with the amount of news these days.

This economy with few government controls is why medical expenses have increased dramatically in the United States. is the only first-world nation that doesn’t have a universal healthcare system. Often, most medical treatments are far less expensive outside of the country. The medical tourism market is growing at 15-25% per year. If you aren’t rich, you’re probably getting screwed (as usual) regarding health care. Don’t get me wrong, America has some of the most advanced hospitals and treatments on earth, but the system is broken. You shouldn’t have to sell your soul to be able to stay healthy at older ages. For people who are lucky enough to work from home or online, traveling has never looked like a better option than right now.
The cost of living in America is becoming flat-out ridiculous unless you’re living in the middle of a cornfield (no offense). If the cost of everything continues to rise, the chances of buying a home, starting a family, or hitting major milestones are reduced to near zero. In July of 2020, studies reported that between the ages of 18-29, 52% of young people were living with their parents. Not to mention the majority of young adults who are still living with their parents. But nearly 40% of Americans with an annual income over $100k are living paycheck to paycheck. Post pandemic, many Americans have less than $300 in the bank. An article from CNBC’s Make it revealed that 47% of Americans say that cost of living is the number one threat to future financial security. Unless you’re Jeff Bezos, most Americans can agree that the rent is too damn high. Here are the 20 reasons some people choose to opt for an extra-long vacation or relocate from the states for good. The United States of America hasn’t been so united lately but, Americans can agree on one thing. Never-ending covid-19, massive unemployment, political drama, riots, vaccine hesitations, stagnating wages, increased inflation, and a whole lot more.
